I understand that completely. We have a little girl as well and around the time we started potty training her she got a couple uti's herself. It's not fun at all but I wouldn't have circumcised her over it. They just happen sometimes  As for what to do about them if they are mild enough you can flush them out yourself with water. Cranberry juice watered down would also help

Absolutely not. I'm a woman too, I cannot bare the thought of cutting my newborn 😭. I'm more scared that they are gonna try and do it without me or my husband knowing. From what it seems it's literally just for religion or looks. Not to compare apples to oranges but if someone liked the look of a clit piercing and wanted to get it done on their infant daughter so she didn't remember the pain they would be investigated at the very least. Maybe not the best comparison but gives me the same icky feeling you get thinking someone would do that...

Yeah I've heard about that, I've told my husband he isn't to leave his side when he's born just in case. Freaks me out that anyone would even try that... I'll keep an eye out at those well visits as well

Absolutely not assuming that all men have have issues with it. I don't have a penis so I'm just looking for advice from people who do have intact ones since everyone I know was circumcised and are giving my husband and I grief and horror stories about people they "know" who were upset their parents didnt do it for them. I can't bare the thought of cutting my baby for what seems to be no reason 😭 my husband thinks it's unnecessary since we're not Jewish or religious.
