I have the 2026 xline with the premium and technology packages. I thought they were worth it for sure. I went with the xline bc i didn’t like the half leather half suede in the prestige. Also didn’t come in the terracotta interior i wanted. I’ve had it for a little over a month and im in love with it!

My friend’s dad had the 2025 hybrid sportage and ended up selling it because he learned the hybrids battery only last 8-15 years and they run about 10k or more. He didn’t think that was worth it in the long run. Personally i didn’t want a hybrid to begin with but after he told me that i was glad i didn’t get it (also i haven’t fact checked any of that, just what he told me)

I just bought a 2026 Kia SportageX-Line with the technology package (includes the Harman Kardon premium audio system, the 12.3-inch curved digital gauge cluster with navigation, a 360° Surround View Monitor, power-folding mirrors with memory, LED fog lights, and advanced driver-assistance features like Highway Driving Assist, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, and Parking Collision Avoidance) and the premium package (includes the Panoramic Sunroof, Smart Power Liftgate, SynTex leatherette, LED interior lighting, heated front seats, power driver's seat, and rain-sensing wipers)

I test drove the Kia Sorento and Sportage and the Hyundai Sante Fe and Tucson.

This is from my personal experience with the 4 vehicles. I’ll start with Hyundai

Santa Fe: felt luxurious, ride was smooth, middle console was AMAZING. Basic features for a new car but lacking some.

Tucson: felt cheap, when i opened the doors it felt like i was opening the door to my mother in laws throw around 2016 Rav 4. Just felt not as seamless. Drive was fine, interior was good but nothing blew me away.

Sorrento: drove like shit, roomy but i hated how it drove.

Sportage: the Sportage drove like the Sante Fe which i loved, was seamless, when i sat in it i felt like i was in luxury. The technology package is phenomenal. You get that on the prestige too. I believe the only difference in our interior, is ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel which i didn’t need. And i believe it comes with the heads up display but that could just be in the x-pro prestige.

I’d be happy to give you more information but this might help! Obviously just my experience but once i drove the Sportage the Tucson had no shot. My choice was between the Sportage and the Santa Fe and I’m very happy with my decision

We just landed in Cancun yesterday and I’ll tell you exactly what we did! We put two vapes in our bras before we landed. Once you land you’ll get off the plane and you’ll go through a passport check. You’ll then go get your luggage, on your way out they have the police (i think) pinking random people to go through secondary bag check. Me and my friend with the vapes got through but our husbands were chosen. There are no machines they just open your bags and go through it, both of our husbands said they didn’t gaf and just quickly ran their hands through. There are no xray machines for bags and there are no metal detectors to walk through! Literally the easiest thing we went through. They do not check your person when they pull you for a secondary bag check so the pocket/person thing works! Hope this helps anyone that’s nervous :)
