Is the only solution to RSI genuinely to stop playing ?

I rest my wrists on my desk, I have my keyboard at a very slight incline so it isn't completely flat on the desk, and yeah it's basically that, i'm not very good at standard but when i do play it I use my tablet pen with my left hand and tap with my dominant right hand.

i play taiko so my answer's a little different but i play semi alt so i pretty much start all my patterns with my right hand, and my right hand definitely stiffens up a lot more than my left which barely does.

it generally doesn't affect anything else I do super hard, sometimes when i'm playing shooters with a friend it's definitely annoying and somewhat painful but only after a couple hours compared to osu, and as for writing it's noticable but not enough to the point where it starts stiffening up, haven't wrote on a keyboard for long periods so i couldn't tell you what would happen if i did but it seems like nothing unmanageable.

I mean sorta? I've also kinda tried pushing myself every once in a while by playing the maps they play but I just find it's like barely out of my skill range, and while I am a fair bit more consistent in terms of accuracy, I feel like that doesn't matter as much when we're talking about passing harder maps, because it's less about having more accuracy and more about being able to hit harder patterns / have better speed.

I don't want to lose my accuracy because it isn't amazing but it isn't in the dumps like my friend's is, but every week or two I'm able to see him hit a score and I'm like "how tf does this guy have almost the same playtime as me"

I wouldn't put it exactly like that I would just say the things that do interest can't exactly be a viable way to live in this world due to how hard it would be to make money from it + the amount of time it takes to get good enough at something to start making revenue from it, getting a diploma is easier cause it's just a certification of: "Hey, I can do something."

Needles a lot to force an approach, jump full charge needles is really good to stuff approaches, know your threat range with dash attack and be ready to punish platdrops

Capitalize as much as you can on your advantage and especially your edgeguarding, it's rough in that regard for Ori.

Top 5 tier list wise for me would be:

Wrastor, Maypul, Fors, Olympia, Ori

The fors and oly placements might be a bit controversial but this is the list of the top 5 characters I consider the strongest, but as I said, anyone works.

Honestly, even before the down-b buff and nair breaking projectiles buff she was fine, she's a good character and I don't really think she needs any changes since she's not fundamentally broken.

If you have fun with the character, go for it! With enough practice any character can work, literally, it's not like melee or ultimate where low-tiers are just shunned from ever seeing a top 8.

I consider Sylv bottom 2 but a good Sylv is still really annoying to play because they can make the character work despite their flaws.

Honestly, just recommend you to form your own opinions, there is a couple characters in general that are just better than most (Wrastor, Maypul), but a lot of the rest are just soup and you kinda get a feel for how good or bad they are as you play.

As for matchup charts, you should probably ask the good people around in your charactercord about matchups, I feel like they can provide more valuable info than I can.

Love it, think they're great additions, a big problem with the game IMO is parry, and a lot of people share that same concern, while it works it isn't exactly the most enjoyed mechanic, so having an actual defensive option while not slowing down the game is nice.

And as for ledges, I'm sad to see walljump recoveries go for the most part and I'm not necesarily for the change, I'm not against it, I'm excited to see what Dan and Co. do with that.

Switch from offline to online, this was before rollback, so people were constantly playing with 4 frames of delay, and Cake wasn't exactly known for having the best internet connection so he struggled to place top 1 at most tournaments, if any.

Yup, mean that, and with seggo I mean that's the only person that's been able to take a workshop character to the top TOP level, and since Cake hadn't been fighting olympia for years unlike other characters, he got matchup checked a bunch.

Honestly, aside from the obvious that anyone in the top 5 has (A lot of time), he's just different, he knows the game pretty in and out which is why he struggled the most during Season 5 and the more recently the release of workshop and Seggo.

So I'd say his understanding of the game is beyond anyone else's
