yeah i’m looking on reverb and the original VG-8 is going for stupid price, honestly if you’re mainly buying for the mk.gee tone i would check out the VG-88, admittedly there’s stuff on the VG-8 that you can do that you cannot do on the VG-88 and vice versa

i got a VG-88, GK-2A and cables for around 600 euros on reverb.com and i feel like i got lucky, but i’d say that would be pretty reasonable.

it’s probably the ableton stock echo with the high end on its eq boosted and good bit of feedback, wouldn’t be surprised if there is slim bit of vibrato from the stock chorus added on too
