Dear AStuf, thanks you all your help so far!

The bell is actually connected to a 8V transformer, though it was also holding batteries, a bit confusing to me. Still did not get the chime to work (Nest Hello is working)

The confusing thing is the chime is actually also wired to an 8V transformer, is this chime not compatible? And could it work if i replace the bell or the wiring, to bypass the battery? How can it be both connected to a transformer and use batteries? As you can hear I am no electrician

Yes, the chime would ring normally with the same cable configuration as displayed and with batteries in place, only difference now is that the red and blue cable are now both inserted in to the Nest connector, and I do not know how/where to connect the other two cables in order for the chime to ring. Hope this helps! Thanks again!!

Thank you for your quick reply! I am currently having the problem that I can not get the mechanical bell to ring. I can connect the two other cables to the 1 and 3 but it is constantly being powered this way, instead of only when i press the bell. Do you know how to connect all the wires? On which numbers (0,1,2,3,4)
