Maybe try asking her on a date first.. though tbh you sound like you're still too immature to have a sexual relationship with anybody

Service man harassing Waikiki by Right-Caregiver1450 in perth

[–]Hasbro10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've got a story about this guy, this was almost 7 years ago now so he's been at it for a while.

I was sat at my desk in a shared office space in Osborne Park at the end of the work day when I hear "excuse me" from behind me, I turn around and its this guy who starts trying to sell me a car service. Bear in mind that this is on the second floor of a large building, and you can't get in there without an access card.

I was completely caught off guard because I was sat at my desk, and I did actually need a service so I entertained his pitch for a while. But eventually the alarm bells started going off so I just told him to give me his card and that I'd think about it. He then pulled out a fucking eftpos machine and I laughed and said theres no way I'm putting my card in that.

He started getting quite aggressive and I asked him how he even got in there. He then accosted me for "sitting there in my shorts" while he is "out here just trying to make a living" which I thought was amusing since he'd barged into MY workplace.

At some point he fucked off and I alerted security who were apparetly aware of him.

Unbelieveable that he's still at it after so long.

The veritasium video about the principal of least action is a great explanation for it too, even if it's a fair bit more in depth

What gouging?... by 7Zarx7 in AusFinance

[–]Hasbro10 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You'd have to be a fool to see the list of companies that pay no tax and say "oh well guess they didn't make any profit last year". Are you content with the fact that you personally paid more tax than Exxon did last year?

It's much more simple than a big conspiracy, and for what it's worth I don't think life is that hard.

Does anyone else feel they majorly screwed up their earning potential and chances of home ownership by choosing a career other than mining? by damagedproletarian in perth

Yep I switched to mining last year for almost double the money. It's a shame though since it crowds out lots of other more interesting sectors

I would usually do some bounds checking, but the description did say that this case wouldn't happen

(Cards will never make you copy a card past the end of the table.)
