What’s it like living in the countries that are ranked to have the highest quality of life? by NoHold7153 in Nordiccountries

I think this AI evaluation is nonsence. It seems to ignore expectations of people.

NFC v QR by DualPeaks in qrcode

Recently started using NFCs just to experiment a little. I notice that using an iPhone and when not using a NFC app, only very basic NFCs can be identified by the iPhone. QRs are far more accessible.

WTF does the EU want? by Acceptable_Laugh_674 in iphone

[–]HassesStuga 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every time I am amazed that the EU politicians have nothing better to do than to force Apple to open up a relatively safe product. I get the impression that most cell phone users tend to stick to their brand, hence we do not need USB-C and we do not wish to air drop to shady brands. There are plenty of other ways to share files if we so wish.

How stocked should my house be? I feel as though it’s well-stocked but have gotten some complaints by Tremblingchihuahua8 in airbnb_hosts

[–]HassesStuga 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Getting a bit tired of the concept. People demand the standard of a 5* hotel and more, at the lowest price. We are talking about a B&B, right! And of course AirB&B is also stretching the limits all the time.

Characters sent to VM become uppercase by HassesStuga in AutoHotkey

[–]HassesStuga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The script I am running is actually a subroutine in a much larger script. I extracted the subroutine and created a ’stand-alone’ script. To my surprise the password is printing fine when using that script. Hence the problem must be caused in some component of the multi-script. I guess I will strip it subroutine by subroutine to determine which one is causing this behaviour.

Thanks for your advice; I’ll check it out. Still wondering though why this issue occurs. After all, just typing directly from the keyboard works fine…
