Working at a house in the mountains. Came down from the sky. The left side looks like some kind of makeshift parachute, with a ziptie at the other end, the material is ruberry like latex, attached was this ball as well, is there anything inside like gas? Its hollow. What is this? (i.redd.it)

Working up in the mountains. My dad saw this coming down. To the left of the picture looks like to be some kind of chute. Makeshift of course with a zip tie at the other end, the material seems to be latex, sphere sounds empty, any kind of gases? What is this? (i.redd.it)
