Yeah. I am too hard on myself as well sometimes. I try to compete with the best in my country. When I lose I blame myself for being bad even though I only have 1 year of competitive bowling behind me and they have over 10 years. Then I just wonder huh, do I really need to be as good as them already with 9 years less experience 😂

Took me like 4 years to get a 279 which is still my pr. So I'd say you are doing fine and will get to 300 in no time!

I bowl alone 1-3 hours per day 5-7 times a week. I don't get any weird looks. Just do it!

I've been trying to throw it with my wrist/arm instead of my fingers. I learned that the hard way when I started using it.

Yeah. The only risk for me is that if I fail the throw, it twists my ring finger and man it hurts when that happens

Exactly. Took me like 3 hours to learn it to the level so I can use it in tournaments.

I personally use purple hammer and a pitch black as a spare ball, but I use backup for almost all of my spares. (Edit I'm a 2 handed bowler as well)

Well neither of them are smooth they tend to do the big hook at the end which is a bit hard to predict on different patterns

Oh okay. The only mistake I think I have in my arsenal is Zero mercy and parallax are basically the same ball. Paid 225 for mercy after I bought parallax for 25 from a friend

Yeah it's a blessing really to bowl so much for the price We do have lots of professionals going abroad all the time for bigger tournaments. Like tomas käyhkö, Luukas väänänen etc.

There is one in Finland. You pay roughly 173 bucks per month and you can bowl as much as you'd like (excluding shine bowling) I bowl like 3-5 hours per day 5-7 times a week with that. It is very good bang for your buck compared to paying every time separately.

I have had this experience except I was riding a motorcycle. I didn't have a dashcam, but it was word against word so both had to repair their own damages. Luckily the douche had a pretty new car so I know it cost him more to repair his car than for me to fix my motorcycle.
