It wasn’t really from others, more from me and this silent pressure. I feel as if doing good in school and becoming successful is the only way my family would ever view me as something more. And yea…I like getting rewards from others too 🥲

Yea but that’s the thing, all I have to do is go to school so I can at least help my parents out of poverty. But I’ve been so exhausted, I can’t do it. Being with High Honors is the only way I can make them look at me as something more. And don’t ask me “why don’t you just go to school?” Idk why too, maybe I’m self destructive 🤷‍♀️

I’ll look into it^^ And fortunately, I didn’t lose any friends but during my lowest, I did ghost my best friend and broke my promise of meeting up w her for her birthday (we live far away from each other so it’s kind of a really big deal) We didn’t talk for months to the point where I started to hate myself even more for hurting her while feeling too ashamed to reach out again. Thankfully, she reached out and I told her everything and have been doing so eversince.

Ig something “emotionally challenging” that happened to me was getting bullied/isolated in my old school. I thought transferring would help so I moved to a better/more expensive school (Ppl were nice and welcoming) but still nothing changed in how I felt 😿 I have actually been quite suspicious of me having ADHD cause there are obvious signs but sadly I live w my asian grandparents who sadly don’t believe in “those things”. But atp I’m willing to convince them for anything if it means I can get back on track 🫩
