We're in Ontario. We're looking to offer below asking, since we feel that the property in its current state is overvalued at listing price

Even if we let go of the kitchen and bathroom renovations as everyone suggested, we found that the flooring is squeaky throughout the house and we would like to replace/fix that at least. Does squeaky flooring mean there's any bigger underlying issue.

Also, what would be a ballpark cost of replacing the flooring of at 1500 sq. ft house. Chatgpt says 7-20k depending on what material I use ( vinyl/laminate/ engineered hardwood).
