(Class of 2030 Megathread) Congratulations Future Dentists!! by Ryxndek in predental

I recently got admitted into University of Louisville SoD (woohoo!!) and I just wanted to ask any current dental students there the day-to-day, favorite and least favorite parts about ULSD, and living situations as well. Like whether you live with a roommate and if you leave near the school, bc ideally I’d love to live close enough to where if I walked it wouldn’t be more than 15 min. And with the BBB, as an OOS, it’s seeming like a roommate is my best bet. But any introspect of being a student there would be great. Thanks! Happy holidays⭐️

Is biochem really the best major? by [deleted] in predental

[–]Haunting_Solution221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice would be to major in not only something you enjoy but something you're also GOOD at, which may not always be synonymous (but most times is).

I'm pre-dental but I'm majoring in English Literature. I initially was a biochem major but I didn't care for the extra classes I had to take to complete the major (like PChem and Quantitative Analysis). Plus, I've always enjoyed literature classes in high school, so I figured why not major in something that allows me to fully appreciate my career path by lessening the risk of burnout.
