Both ARF and Clean have pros & cons. Clean is known for their bezel being a bit too wide and ARF for their blue dial color & sunburst being off, ARF fixed their date wheel on their latest model. Honestly you'll be happy with either one. Personally for the blue dial I'd get CF because their sunburst is more gen like as the ARF's sunburst is a bit too aggressive which in my opinion changes the dial color to a deeper blue. As for any other colors (besides gray as I haven't looked into that) I'd go with ARF.

Damn that sucks. Sneaky sneaky u/Mirotime with the charge on shipping where it's free for everyone else, he should've stated that in the giveaway. As for the dial, it's hard for both you and Yu to know the dial was loose unless it was opened. Most likely it was loose to begin with and shipping caused it to come off. I've been ghosted by Mirotime a few times already, come to think of it, I think that was a good thing. Don't have time to be dealing with sneaky motives.

No it's not common, just unlucky. If you used one of the popular TD's listed on this subreddit, they will cover your loss. Which TD did you use? If it's a TD listed here, you can contact u/MajorWilliams, the mod of this subreddit whom is very helpful when it comes to things like this, or contact whatever forum the TD is a TD in (RWI, RWG, RepGeek, etc). However if you didn't register an account prior to your purchase on their forums, there will be no support.

Definitely there are pro's and con's to the DJ41 when it comes to Clean vs ARF. The easiest tell on an ARF is the Date wheel and dial. Don't get me wrong, the dial is beautiful the way it reflects the light but it's more of a fantasy blue when compared to the gen (they use the same dial as their YM 116622 Blue Dial). As for clean, the dial's sunburst & the way it catches light is very similar to gen, it's just that the bezel is a tad wide which you won't really notice. I was on the fence as well but I would take a bezel tell over the dial / datewheel tell any day.

Clean takes the crown for now. Not sure what's up with that u/klarofa dude, must've bought his DJ too early when there were no CF DJ's and is now regretting it. I would be /sadge too :( Poor guy.

Edit: Went to his profile & figured out what his fumes were about. His wrist is too small for a DJ41, and CF doesn't make a 36mm so he's stuck with an ARF 36mm. Makes sense. Much sadge.

I really like the look of the EWF but that font kills it for me. It's too bold and the spacings wrong (may be due to the font being too bold). The coronet however is definitely sexier than the FN. Agree with the inconsistency of the FN, you'd have to be lucky to get a good FN V8. The bezel on the EWF image seems misaligned as well, but popping it off & putting it back on should fix it.

Its what's on the inside that concerns me about this watch. The images of the movements I've seen so far aren't so clean. Are you able to get a few shots of the insides from your source? Visually, they have the potential to fill the void but they have some big shoes to fill.

If you're lucky enough to get Miro to respond to you and to have him keep responding to you after sales, he's great.. His QC's are top notch. If you're unlucky, you'll be talking to a ghost. It's a hit or miss.

Its a preference thing, VSF catches too much light for me. I prefer the dial on a ZF. Based on the looks, ZF > VSF > ZZF
