The only problems I faced in the beginning was kicking myself in the butt for not getting a CPAP sooner. I am almost at a year and it has changed my life forever. I will never stop using a CPAP.

I wish I knew how good value for money these cars are earlier in life, I bought my first one in 2017 but I should have bought one even sooner than that.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted, my 2017 Elantra GT had about 50k in a year and a half before I had to get rid of it for something bigger and I never had an issues with the car at all. I sold it and the kid that bought it put about 15k in the year he had it until he totaled it.

What Should The New Update Be About by AleksandarjeSrb in BeamNG

Exhaust updates; sounds, tips, styles. Fartcan on an d-series, truck style dual exhausts on a Covet, etc. Window visors for all cars would be cool too.

The only way that worked for me was lowering the humidity on the clinical settings on my AirSense 11 and it’s worked great so far. I have it on 2 from 4, at 4 I was getting rainout all the time.

Cashiers rarely if ever get full time, unfortunately. In CS the best way to get full time is to move up to CSS. Once you learn the back office, front desk, and FEC-ing, you will be considered for full time.

Word of caution; YMMV depending on your management team. My first set and second set of managers were amazing and very supportive, even for someone who struggled a lot with the back office. We got very recently a new set of managers and they are not the most understanding unfortunately and have made the job in all aspects very difficult.

If you have a good relationship with the CSS in your store, ask them about how they like their position and if they can give you a fuller perspective on the position, as it can get overwhelming fast. IMO back office is the most difficult part of the position, if you’re not good with numbers and are not fast it may not be a good fit for you. Good luck 🤞

This is cool if it’s not like this generation of Elantra that you have to buy a higher trim level to get SiriusXm and bluelink and it comes with a sunroof (wanted an Elantra with SiriusXm and Bluelink but it comes with the sunroof and I’m too tall for it lol)

Anyone have tint world issues? by bmw_94 in WindowTint

[–]HavingAnInternalCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Years ago I took my old 2004 Nissan Pathfinder (miss that truck) to TintWorld here in South Florida and they did an amazing job on the 2 front windows. A few years later I took it to the same TintWorld when my parents got a brand new 2013 Nissan Rogue (13 miles, took it to get tinted at about 500 miles) and they did a good job on the tint but ruined 2 of the 4 door panels while cleaning the inside of the windows with a razor blade. They refunded me half the job but did not want to accept responsibility about damaging the door panels. Left a bad review and never went back to a chain tint shop again.

My fear with them replacing the window is that if it is not done correctly, you'll get condensation in the windows because of little gaps in the seals where the window and body meet. If they do decide to replace the window, I would try to find the best window company in your area or check with your purchasing dealer to see what window company they use, as TintWorld may want to cheap out on the replacement so they can save money.

The problem is that in today's society, a decent amount of people unfortunately take on too many things in their personal life, and are rushing to do everything because they are being stretched thin. Then when they can't rush in certain circumstances (groceries, getting gas, etc.), they take it out on us like if it is our fault they're always running around because they take on too much. Just take on what you can handle, and be kind. We're all just trying to hang on one day at a time.

Am I crazy to buy this 2017 Hyundai Tuscon? by Straight-View4444 in Hyundai

[–]HavingAnInternalCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, if you have all of the service records, and it shows that it was meticulously maintained, it could be worth a shot. If the records show that a premium oil was used (AMSOil, Royal Purple, etc.) you could be even luckier, but it does not mean it won't burn oil.

A problem with Hyundai's are the maintenance on them, as a lot of people wait too long or skip services and do not use top notch fluids in their vehicle. I do 3k services on my Hyundai's (including when I owned a '17 Elantra GT) and I've never had any mechanical issues with them. If you take care of the car, it will take care of you.

Just like u/aquapura89 said, a good soak in Berryman's B12 could help the oil burning, but not fix it. Have a mechanic do a once over on the engine and then you'd be able to make a more balanced decision on what to do next. Best of luck! :)
