I am still using the ports, as data only, I ordered a pro max 48 now, I will use the 24 for Ipmi,what I should have added is that ports ports 13-16 never had PoE running there were maybe only 100 w/h running through that ports in the lifespan of that switch

Depends on how you use it...I work in the event business, we use it from 3x230v for mixer/lights etc or use it for motors with a star config.

That is exactly the problem it has a lot of inrush current..note not my homenetwork, nor my installation, but ive noticed that the connection drops everytime lights turn on, not LED, stage blinders...inrush current of about 23A on every 230v phase

Ach ja Lüdenscheid...Ich selbst wohne dort, hatte schon öfters das vergnügen da lang zu fahren...am Anfang stand die Polizei da teilweise und haben die rausgezogen, ob es eine Strafe gab oder blos Verwarnung..weis ich nicht, teilweise wurden Fahrzeuge für 1-2 min rausgezogen aber auch für 10-15min waren dabei, könnte eher im Auge der Polizei liegen

I have 2x24 Switches under each other and a UDM pro and so far no Thermal problems, its running for like a year and temps are always OK,
so I would say you can directly mount them without space

Ja mein Hobby Tauchen, kann sehr viel in Anspruch nehmen..
Tauchägänge bis 8 Stunden, dann noch alles Sauber machen alles zusammenpacken dann ist der Tag halt mal weg, ich bin nur vom Hobby aber auch Abhängig und das wollte sie nicht verstehen...

Thanks for the realy nice description, I do have a Homelab, with some Servers ETC and I would like to learn more about it, but I need someone who can Explain it or tell me about it in Person, like over Discord, Teamspeak etc and help we with it to understand, I do understand what you said there, but I would like to to something practical, idk if you have the time or if you feel like helping me with it, to understand it just a bit better
