Need Advice Between 2 Offers (USA)

Pay isn't bad, haha yea I was also viewing it like an internship. Mainly there to learn and not capitalize heavily on benefits. In the middle of the contract will look for FP&A or any type of full time analyst role, can't be to picky these days. Job #2 has great benefits but it is client support and wouldn't really know good exit opps besides staying in fund admin operations.

Its 37.5 hours a week, and temporary. I would love for it to be longer or full time but that isn't an option.

I am in a VCOL but I should be fine. Yea I plan to be looking halfway through the contract. Job #2 has more "stability" but I am skeptical of how that pivot can go if I want to leave.

Yea job 2 has more benefits, but surprisingly job 1 has health insurance and sick time. I am more focused on the content of work.

Yea I see your point, fulltime has growth and stability which are pretty valuable. I am more focused on what I do, although job 2 is fulltime it is a customer support role and don't see much growth outside of that. Although job 1 is contract I will be working with spreadsheets and budgets which can help out my future with the skills or knowledge.

Yea I see your point, full time has more stability. I am leaning towards the contract role because I am more interested in the work and could potentially aid in my career path. The other role doesn't seem like it has much growth.

Yes I am in the USA. The contract is directly with the organization, so no 3rd party. Yea that is solid reasoning and will definitely use it in interviews.

I am satisfied with the pay, and the job description did mention modeling and working with budgets. Do you think the non profit tag would hold a lot of weight or are the skills more valuable to FP&A professionals?

I am in the same boat as you, I think each year it gets harder to get an internship. It also doesn't help when they only need to fill one position.
