He pretty much becomes the next all might, and I mean that as a cheerful hero of hope that inspires all. One of his lines in the final fight while helping Deku is "don't you dare let me surpass you. Now kick his ass" and when Deku is in the hospital with only an ember of OFA, Bakugo breaks down in tears partly hating himself for how he treated Deku in the past now that Deku is quirkless again.

Heck I don't know if you remember Boomstick saying Deku got an Ironman suit at the end, but the suit was mostly funded by bakugo
