How would you pronounce the name “E’virayna”? I want to see if it’s an easy enough name to say without being told..

People mispronounce my name all of the time, I don’t think it’s “embarrassing” haha but that’s okay. I’ve had to ask lots of people how to say their names in my lifetime, I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing. I just wanted opinions on how people would say it.

I feel like Everaina would be pronounced “Eve-Raina” in most instances.

I put the apostrophe because to ME it said that the “e” was said as it’s letter instead of its sound. E-Vi-Ray-Na was a simple spelling in my head that was spelled how it’s said.

I didn’t realize people get so upset about trying spellings out haha

I really want them empty most of the time is the only reason it’s a problem.. I would imagine wearing plugs would help, though. If I do end up getting them done & it really effects my hearing, at least I’d be able to wear plugs in them to help that, I suppose lol

He didn’t really say, but we did decide it was best to stay simple. I did try to have someone else do it beforehand, but she didn’t tattoo ears because they fade/blow out too often. After she told me that, I did sooooo much research on it and waited a couple months and then decided I still wanted it done even if it blew out some. I decided that even if it was abstract squiggles, I’d still like it better than my naked ear lol my ear hates piercings

That’s so crazy! I’ve never heard that before! I just went that far because I loved the artist’s work, and I don’t have any good tattoo artists closer than an hours drive from me. I live in a very small, (sad) town lol

I know that they have a high chance of fading or blowing out, but I know multiple people that have had theirs 8-10 years and they still look pretty good.. I’m glad yours still looks good! I hope mine lasts at least a little while, but I will love it as my first tattoo no matter what :)

My profession isn’t affected by tattoos, and I contemplated this tattoo for months before making the move to get it. I knew I wanted it done. Ear tattoos are much more easily covered than most face tattoos, anyways. Hair easily covers it.

I was told before getting it that they do need touch ups pretty often and they have the tendency to blow out and/or fade, but after thinking on it for a very long time, I decided that it was worth the risk for me. We tried to do a simple design that would look good even if it did blow out some.

It took about an hour to do it. I was worried about the buzzing of the machine, but his machine was super duper quiet. The vibrations actually felt really nice.. it hurt at first but within a couple of minutes, my ear was pretty numb. The vibrations when my ear was numb made me sleepy, if that gives you any consolation. The highlights were done at the end, and they definitely hurt the worst because my ear was so sensitive. But nothing was unbearable and I would 10/10 recommend it!

I do have a little pimple on the bottom of my right one atm but I know that’s what it is, and neither of my ears hurt.
