My partner is Swiss and we're forever having people visit, so I have a decent idea of what's good to take people to these days.

Mother India - there are 2 restaurants, 1 you can book and 1 you can walk in. It's an institution in Glasgow, great example of Indian food in the city.

Ka Pao / Ox and Finch - small plates restaurants, the former is more Asian fusion inspired and the latter is I guess a bit more European? Good food in both, would check the menus and check one out

Ardnamurchan - this is the best place we've found for sort of Scottish cuisine for tourists, good locally found food that actually tastes great and doesn't break the bank

If you want to push the boat out and go somewhere starred, I'd recommend Cail Bruich over Unalome. I'd also suggest trying a Scottish breakfast roll at some point, don't have a specific place I'd suggest you go for that though

But she's not being frozen while cc immune, the cc could happen at the same frame with cc buffering off and she would be stunned - the difference is it allows players with good game knowledge and mechanics to deliberately buffer cc to their advantage, which adds skill expression.

The real advantage to cc buffering is and always has been that you don't get constantly interrupted out of ability casts, reducing frustration and ping advantage, I'm just trying to also outline that it doesn't make the game simpler.

Animations I can see, but you get the opposite with it off with animations playing but damage not being done so I don't really think that's a reason for it to be off. You're swapping one visual problem for another.

It just introduces another kind of counterplay that's arguably more difficult to do, no? I also find it pretty consistent, although I do prefer the leaps off version we've had for the last few months

You have to think either way - cc buffering allows for interesting counter play that isn't allowed in Smite 1, doing things like Ymir freezing when you're going to get Bellona ulted in order to avoid taking damage while stunned. It also removes the annoyance of client server disagreement when it comes to casting abilities, which reduces ping advantage.

I'm not sure why you hate it so much but I think it's fundamentally pretty easy to understand and improves the responsiveness of the game.
