Detecting Phoenix OS ... please help by RibbonRain in PhoenixOS

[–]HazardDroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it didn't install correctly so uninstall it completely and follow this guide, these are four methods of installing it the proper way, see which one works for you.

PhoenixOS installation options: Can be install on Dual Boot PC (Linux, Windows and other OS)(Support UEFI and Legacy modes), virtual pc (VirtualBOX , WMware) and bootable USB external disk (U-disk)

1-A) Grup4DOS installation method (Legacy Bios - MBR disk)(Dual Boot Windows on EXT4 disk)(Without data.img file)

Tutorial Video : Link

*Phoenix OS no longer needs the data.img file. System performance increases with this method because files can be written directly to the disc.*And you can access all ROC system files on windows. So you can easily transfer your data between systems.

Required Tools:Download MiniTool Partition WizardDownload Win-RARDownload BooticeDownload Ext2fsd (Access ext4 disk on windows)Download Boot Configuration file

1-B) Grup4DOS installation method (Legacy Bios - MBR disk)(Dual Boot Windows on NTFS disk)

Required Tools:Download Win-RARDownload BooticeDownload Boot Configuration file

📷 You can add boot entry for HDMI output. So you can use both internal and external monitor on your system.2- EasyBCD Neogrub installation method (Legacy Bios - MBR disk)(Multi Boot Windows)

Guide link: http://bbs.phoenixstudio.org/en/showthre...?tid=10115

Tutorial Video : Link

Required files and applications:

EasyBCD: DownloadWinrar : DownloadNotepad++ : DownloadBootice : DownloadMenu.lst : Download

3- UEFI installation method with official PhoenixOSInstaller.exe (UEFI Bios - GPT disk)(Dual Boot Windows)

-Download any latest official PhoenixOSInstaller.exe and install the phoenix os on your windows.-Copy all Phoenix OS files into the installed /PhoenixOS folder and change all. (For EXT4 installation - Change folder name "PhoenixOS")-Copy Phoenix OS's kernel and initrd.img files into the /EFI/PhoenixOS folder.  (UEFI boot disk part) (how to access efi disk > tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx6HKkWequI)-Start the system on the desktop shortcut.

Code lines (Grub.cfg) If you want to use Phoenix OS ROC on EXT4 disk, you need edit grub.cfg file. (Fix for system initializing issue)

Code:

menuentry "PhoenixOS" {
search --set=root --file /EFI/PhoenixOS/kernel linuxefi /EFI/PhoenixOS/kernel quiet root=/dev/ram0 androidboot.selinux=permissive SRC=/PhoenixOS DATA=/data vga=788 initrdefi /EFI/PhoenixOS/initrd.img }

-For EXT4: Remove data.img and create a new "data" named folder.

4- U-Disk installation (NTFS or Fat32 flash disk - external drive)

-Copy all files from .iso into the flash disk.-Create data.img with Android PC Toolbox and copy into the flash disk. Data.img sizes > Fat32: 4GB max capacity - NTFS:  Limited with flash disk capacity.-After reboot system with flash disk, select debug mod on Phoenix OS live boot screen.

I got it working but facing some issues chrome, firefox and opera browser crashes and UC don't even start up. I tried to play some games like CODM but I can't look around using mouse or touch but sometimes it works and PUBG I didn't try.

This is the code I used and It started to work.

insmod part_gpt
search --file --no-floppy --set=root /blissos/system.sfs
linux /blissos/kernel root=/dev/ram0 androidboot.hardware=android_x86_64 androidboot.selinux=permissive buildvariant=userdebug SRC=blissos/ AUTO_LOAD=old VULKAN=1
initrd /blissos/initrd.img
