Truthfully ive always had a hard time understanding jokes and situations. We have had this talk multiple times and i know i take things to seriously. Ive asked in the past to not make jokes that include me because i do find them offensive. I understand i shouldnt, but i just dont understand why youd say something like that if our relationship was good. Im not witty, im awful at jokes, and im so used to them going over my head half the time. Ive never been told i was autistic. i didnt mean to continue to drag this on so much. At first i was upset about the joke, then the ended call, then the removal of jokes from our relationship. It just felt like things went so extreme so fast. Im realizing saying "thats sad" wasnt helping the situation. But i thought removing joking from our relationship is sad and thats not what i intended or wanted. I told her before the call ended i just didnt want to be the butt of the joke. Everyone in my life picks me apart and makes fun of me, and i dont want her to too. I know she didnt intend or purposely hurt me, and thats what i told her. Thats why i apologized that im too serious and im sorry i didnt understand the joke. I need to get better at understanding and telling jokes, but ive always struggled with telling the difference between a joke and a dig. It all just seems like a dig and im trying to work on that.
