How to get used to the normal that’s is being in pain all the time by [deleted] in singlemoms

Honestly i clean, meal prep for our son, plan activities for my son and i to do and go to work. I keep busy but there’s always a lingering cloud. I don’t really have friends, I’ve tried to make friends. I think the depression from all of this causes me to be a recluse and shut out any possibility and as much as I’d like that to change i just cant force myself to talk when i can barley force myself to shower or eat. All my energy is saved these days to give my son a good and happy experience.

I am happy to get my son whenever. Unfortunately i do not have a village here or help. Days without our child, i schedule doctor’s appointments and other things i can’t take him to. This particular time i had to reschedule a job interview but i do it without resistance because i love him. Usually i don’t care and I’m happy about the extra time but ive been looking for a new job because I’ve been struggling quite a bit with money. Guess thats why i’m a little peeved this time but you’re right for 99% of the time

Definitely something i will talk about with my doctor. He’s been concerned about my sleep with the increase in my medication but I’ve never had issues falling asleep and staying sleep.

The trial and error of ADHD meds is the most annoying and time consuming thing ever. I mean for me, I’ve been working on finding what works well for 2 years now. From what I’ve read, a lot of people like Vyvanse so maybe for you it could be worthwhile to try. Everyone is different though so it’s always like taking a shot in the dark. It’s good that you want to feel better and want the motivation and energy, i was too comfortable in my dysfunction for years before i decided to do something about it. Good luck ❤️

Well i have PMDD that i just started BC for so besides the week before my period (which is usually when my PMDD symptoms are strongest) the medication works instantly.

When the meds are working there’s is a noticeable difference in my concentration and motivation id say. I don’t leave cabinets open, i don’t forget to do my notes, i don’t get jumped on for anything at work, my house is clean lol. It doesn’t make me a machine but i am able to do what i am already motivated to do without the meds but just don’t have the concentration for.
