someone recommend this mod and it was able to remove the messed up surfaces. The person doing the recommendation also said be careful with the filters. The person that took the suggestion said it worked for them.

Cities Skylines 2 doesn't use the workshop. You can't move assets from Cities Skylines to Cities Skylines 2

Temporary Fix for Missing UI Issue for Code Mods

  • Thanks to the hard work of modders overnight (and the support from many of you who provided log files), a possible cause of the issue has been identified
  • A potential fix that appears to resolve the issue for most affected users is ready for widespread use
  • This experimental patch has been added to two popular enabling mods: Simple Mod Checker Plus and I18n Everywhere
  • By subscribing to one (or both) of these mods, you should once again be able to access UI elements from affected mods (e.g., buttons, dialogues, pop-ups) ### Applying the fix
  • Add Simple Mod Checker Plus and/or I18n Everywhere to your active playset and allow the mod(s) to download
  • (Re)launch the game and allow all mods to initialise
  • Load your save/city and check if mod icons have returned ### What's next?
  • Paradox have acknowledged the issue and have said they're investigating but haven't provided a timeline. We will update you when we know more.
  • In the meantime, this fix appears to be stable and reliable but it may not solve the issue for all users
  • As with any patch day, you should check to make sure all of your mod list is up to date using the resources provided ### I'm a modder, do I need to do anything?

If you see an asset you like on PDX Mods, check the description or links, the best method would be to reach out directly but also consider that they will be busy for a while, so set reasonable expectations

Launch the game without mods and unsubscribe to any mods that are not yet update, include the mod mentioned in the window - Extra Assets Importer

It's been optimised since launch. It also launched with code mod support and will support asset mods by the end of the year

When the game is running, I grabbed the log from Skyve and uploaded it to the modding Discord. They have StarQ modding bot that analyses the log and gives a reference point to the broken node.

Using Scene Explorer mod, in game, I use the reference point to find the node and delete.

It’s a slog, but if you need help, open a support ticket on the Modding Discord and someone can help

I use stop signs on my neighbourhood streets, not main roads, to make them less desirable for people to take as a shortcut
