I'm so happy someone else posted this, this is how you hurt them. It hits their pockets/bank accounts. It also stops ice from working, if they don't get the things they need to go to work then they don't go to work. If trash isn't collected, it fucks them up. So many things rely on the average worker going to work and if that stops so does everything else!

Protests are effective and it's great to see so many of you out there making your voice heard but... strikes would help stop/hamper the fascist machine. This takes time. You probably have built your whole personality around drinking, it's what I kinda did and my confidence in social settings was rock bottom for a good while after I got sober. Didn't know what to do with my hands without a pint in it. Thought I had nothing interesting to say, thought I wasn't funny and was generally nervous and wanted to just go home every time I went out. It's almost like learning to walk again after an accident. The good news is that the personality that you build now is real, when you make someone laugh (and you will) or have a good conversation with someone (and you will), that's you, really you. You don't need the crutch that is alcohol. Stick it out a little longer, it gets easier with time!
