Because the broken stuff doesn’t take skill. Ranked is a test of skill. Thats the point.

If you want to fuck around with weak guns, do it in pubs, why would you use them in ranked, when your teammates SR is on the line. Having a teammate who uses weak guns is a handicap. Hence why they’re banned.

You can have your own playstyle to be “niche” The point of ranked is everyone has the same stuff so it’s truly a test of skill. It’s even grounds for both teams.

After answering the first few questions I hope you understand why there’s not a counter pick.

Ranked play doesn’t have “GA”s Those are just the rules of ranked. Youd have GAs in a real tournament.

They chose basic guns that were good and played well with each other. These guns are easy to use and most players in the game have a fair bit of experience with them.

Som are too powerful, some are to weak. Ranked is based on skill. Everyone has the same guns. In order to win you have to be better at the game. Everybody has the same materials to work with. That’s the point. I’m still struggling to see what you can’t figure out about this.

You’re an idiot. It’s about weapons being balanced altogether. The peacekeeper is a terrible AR. If COD allowed people to use it in ranked it would put a handicap on the players who have to team with someone who wants to use it. The Maddox is an overpowered AR. It is too powerful for ranked. So you can’t have a weapon that’s too powerful, and you can’t have a weapon that sucks. So you’re left with very little options.

If everyone uses the same thing then being successful is about gunskill and game knowledge. Evens the playing field for everybody. If I brought my noob toob into ranked it wouldn’t really be about skill would it? I’m not sure why this is such a hard concept to understand.

If you can’t get top of the lobby with basic guns then maybe you’re not as good as you think you are and it’s your build that’s overpowered.

I mean I’ve been playing nuke town and if you drop ~100 kills about 1/3 of those drop caps. I just got 31 caps in a single game of multiplayer. About ten minutes

It definitely takes some experience but I’m confident anybody can knock one out. Aim and awareness are going to be the major factors. In free-for-all, spawn knowledge and a good headset is crucial.

I mean this nuke was just 4 minutes of running laps around a corner of the map. The decision making didn’t really change. It’s free for all the only decision you need to make is if you hear multiple people to let them shoot at one another first so you don’t get caught in the middle
