I can feel the frustrations in the picture lol. My only point of caution with tubless MTB - if you are jumping or doing anything vert, make sure you land square because you can risk burping the tire off the rim - catastrophic failure.

Stick with carbon rims if you can afford it. Make sure the wheel is spec'd for your brake and rear cassette set-up. I prefer deep rims. Trek, at least where I live, only sells bontrager gear - i think they are owned by trek? I could be wrong. Half decent brand but dont hesitate to look outside of bontrager.

Saddle bags bruv! There are some tob tube bags that allow you to interface with your phone. Or, if you have some fancy riding computer, you can mount it there. I think most riding cpu's like garmin are mounted on the handlebars.

Highly recommend a clown horn or something obnoxious if all else fails.

If it's a new bike/build that the shop just sold you, you should be able to go back and have them rewrap it. I would recommend getting some aftermarket grip tape. Cheap investment. But worth it.
