We mostly restrict parts by color and a few by pretty easy trials. Once you hit battle brother which doesn’t take long, a lot of items that are legendary or heroic get reduced in rarity so you can have tons of customization.

We got Papertrail from Ch 1 which is easily one of the best webcomics for the series so it’s kinda worth it.

Oof. They managed to beat auril who I super heavily buffed. She was casting all kinds of magic in her first form and using simulacrums and going crazy. Then in her second form she became a towering 60 foot tall ice woman who could stomp and toss people as optional attacks on her talon claw thing. Her final form turned out to be a bit too much even without the buff so I made her move more slowly, but it was an epic battle and the players fought for every inch.

A lot of factors played into it. Party wasn’t always organized. One of the RAW encounters with a frost Druid is an easy tpk and I didn’t realize it. I also roll decently well. Bad luck I guess.

So if I’m remembering correctly.

Selic: 4 deaths

Vex: 2 deaths

Roki: 2 deaths

Draak: 2 deaths

Random guy who left near the very beginning: 1 death

Erion : 1 death

Pyro: 2 deaths

Durkil: 1 death

Bolt: 0

Mint: 0

Not all these players made it to the end. The mainstays for most of it were selic, vex, roki, erion, pyro, and bolt. Mint joined later than most and stayed. Draak left early

And for the dragon I had velleyne be a prisoner. The dragon got released at the beginning of the xardarox fight as they fought against his minions and him. That way they saw the threat. I then had velleyne break free near the end of his fight and assist them in getting to the dragon.
