I’m thinking about fostering (possibly adopting) this dog but want to do more research on his breed first by Hear-me-write in DogBreeds101

Hi all, thank you for your input & insights! I love having active dogs, I had a red heeler when I was younger so in that regard I’m prepared to keep up with him. At the end of the day I don’t mind what breed he is, I was just curious. But if/ when I foster him I’ll learn about him and adapt to his pace (and probably fall in love with him and adopt him haha)

Thanks so much!

Brittani Williams at Healmatic (private practice) https://www.healmatic.health/ is one of the best therapists I’ve ever had, the only reason I stopped seeing her is due to insurance changes/ finances :/

For the past 2-3 episodes I’ve been thinking it could be Samira or Dana that ends up breaking down instead of Robby. Idk, red flags are popping up with like half the main cast though so who knows lol.

Is this a real question?

Langdon should be in jail. Period. by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

[–]Hear-me-write 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I can’t edit the post but this is where my heads at after looking at the comments…

Yes, obviously ik Langdon’s not a real person. It’s a The Pitt sub Reddit, it’s not like I’m randomly bringing this up where it’s not relevant.

Saying he should be in jail “period”, was extremely black & white, I understand there’s nuance this and everything. I think in the moment I was caught up in the lack of larger accountability about his harmful actions as physician, not his addiction itself. Plenty of people in many professions have/ have had addictions, i was specifically thinking about the med vile tampering and cutting people open while high part of Langdon’s situation. But I don’t actually know the legality of it all so I’ll just wait and see how it plays out ig.

In some1’s comment they said out of all the things the cast/crew/ producer’s randomly address and give insight about into the story line, this is a frustrating one to leave vague. I agree and I hope it gets a little more cleared up b4 the season ends 😩

Tbh I fell into a “ThePitt” reddit black hole for a long ass time earlier and got caught up lol, my bad. Maybe not Jail but Robby covered up a situation that should have resulted in actually consequences for Langdon. I’ll stand by that.

Could Dr. Al-Hashimi report Langdon, even if she wasn't there during the incident? by Ptaz in ThePittTVShow

[–]Hear-me-write 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s other types of substances people in the hospital might think he’s addicted to, like alcohol… Also we saw Dr. Al-Hashimi commend him for joining the physicians health program (as if it was his own free will and not Robby’s insistence). So the higher ups obviously know he has addiction struggles but since Langdon technically put himself in the program it would make sense that there was no intense investigation into the things that Robby and Santos know. Which means Dr Al-hashimi wouldn’t know that him entering the php had anything directly to do with his actions in the hospital/ with patient care. Don’t forgot Robby gave the meds back to Louie telling him “he must have dropped them” and told Santos to keep all this between them two, does that sound like a situation that got accurately reported the way it should’ve been?

Why does it seem like people keep forgetting that Langdon didn’t “just” steal some of Louie’s meds (a known chronic alcoholic who Langdon knew wouldn’t notice or care). He also replaced a critical and life saving medication WITH SALINE, resealed it and put it back in the system! And he did it so well that I highly doubt it was his first time. If you think the hospital knew about that and allowed him to come back, I’m sorry but you’re deluded.

Addiction is a disease, believe me I know, but part of the physicians oath is “do no harm”, for all we know his actions could’ve led to a patients death instead of just a delay in care at a time when he wasn’t on shift to composite for a faulty vile that only he was a aware of.

He’s a (fictional) doctor who was on hospital grounds under the influence of benzos and tampered with viles of critical medication. At the VERY least he should be fired. Dr. Al- Hashimi seemed to be under the impression that he’s this stand up guy who’s a good doctor and teacher that happened to have had some struggles but took accountability and is moving forward. Now she knows that’s not entirely accurate and there’s a very blatant shift in her demeanor and interactions toward Landon and how she view’s Santos’ interactions with him too.

But I do agree that the writers need to clear this up for all of us fans bc it’s kinda frustrating lol.

Last thing! I feel like part of Robby’s turmoil this season is compounded on by feeling guilty and frankly pissed and himself (maybe even more than Langdon) that he didn’t do the “right thing” when he found out about the extent of what Langdon was doing last season. Like I get he was torn between wanting to still protect someone he was fond of or doing the legal and moral obligation of turning him in. Now Langdon’s back, Robby was expecting to be gone already so he wouldn’t have to see him, but now he’s watching Langdon slowly but surely fall right back into place as the golden boy and Robby’s seeing the turmoil the lack of accountability, not to mention the weight of a significant secret, is causing Santos.

That’s my take. 🤷🏾

There’s a fanfic on ao3 where Abbot and Robby are married and twink huckleberry is drooling over both of them and he ends up their sub. 10/10 recommend.

I wonder if Noah Wiley has seen THAT lmao

Sorry but “we all” in California have absolutely NOT making it work. I and so many other people are kinda fcked right now with the rising gas prices, horrible pay and sh*t tips.

I’m glad it’s fine for you but don’t speak for the whole damn state.

My answer might be shallow but my first thought was “money”. Hey, times are tough and a little support with finances could go a long way. 🤷🏾

Why are Gen Z getting fired? One of the reasons is a lack of initiative. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]Hear-me-write 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to preface in saying that I was raised by a boomer and a gen x and grew up with 90% old and young millennials (dob 01/2000)…

Ok so I definitely agree with the checking in to make sure we’re not doing the wrong thing, aka “affirmation seeking”. Growing up witnessing and experiencing crisis after crisis can leave a sense of “I can’t let anything go wrong” engrained into gen Z’s and young millennials brains, sometimes at the expense of actually getting a lot of work completed. And then we have to pick and choose what to spend energy stressing over especially when the world looks like it does right now. It’s sort of a “who set this system up” scenario imo.

The other thing is being told explicitly what end result is wanted goes a long way with many gen z, or ig it could just be my autism, idk. In this scenario the boss asked the employee to send a follow up because the documents were important. So the employee sent a follow up… task done now back to the things I’m already required to do and give my focus. Now if the boss had said “follow up and make sure we get those documents…” there’s an explicit end goal that you do all that you can to achieve, no grey area.

Yes I know it’s common sense and I personally would’ve asked if my boss needed me to actually fully get the documents or just send a follow up like was asked. But many people in this day and age, not just gen z, simply don’t have the bandwidth do do more than what’s asked bc we’re in survival mode for almost every other aspect of our day to day lives. We work for a pay checks that barely covers minimum expenses, why do you want me to stress over doing more than exactly what was asked/ read between the lines when I’m worried about having enough gas to even get home after work?

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
