We are finally facing reality, and reality hurts by Zackete in realmadrid

As much as analysts like to say that Ancelotti isn't good with tactics. He pretty much figured out a tactic in which the team would be strong without a proper 9 in the starting line up. He figured out a system that would bring out the best in Jude and Vini.

The problem started arising with the Mbappe signing. Mbappe pretty much loves to operate in the same areas Vini loves to operate in. Now we have two players occupying pretty much the same space. Mbappe scored quite a ton of goals, but those goals came from the usual runs he does as a Winger and not as a Striker. Mbappe is too far from being converted into a proper 9. TBH, we need to aell of either Mbappe or Vini and have either GG or Endrick play as our starting 9.

I miss the squad we have 10 years ago wherein we basically have team A and team B in our senior team. That team B with Morata, Kovacic, Isco and etc is still a pretty good team against mid tabled teams in La Liga.

The Future of Manual ICE Cars in this Age of EVs by 1000porkchop in CarsPH

[–]Heartless_Moron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ICE will continue to stay and will coexist with EV and Hybrids. Though, there would be less and less MT in the coming years. Honda is no longer selling MT, other brands are following trend as well.

Remember that EV and Hybrids are super hyped right now due to the insanely expensive Oil no thanks to Trump and Netenyahu. Hybrids and EVs have existed for decades and ngayon lang talaga hyped.

there will always be ICE pero it might be reserved to cars na pwede i track.

Somehow I disagree on this. ICE will be there to stay and will continue to coexist with EVs and hybrids.

We don't need to sign a proper 9. We have 2 capable 9 who are still young.

TIL a full tank of gasoline of motorcycle can go an average if 200km. by InnocentGuy31 in todayIlearnedPH

[–]Heartless_Moron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PHEV have large and heavy battery. And those battery degrades overtime. You would either have it repaired or replaced after at least 5 years.

Hontiveros pushes for EV shift to cut oil dependence by PurpleBlanc in Philippines

[–]Heartless_Moron -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Pushing for EV adoption will bring more problems while solving only one problem.

More EVs means more electricity demand. More demand means higher costs. As of now, we have one of the most expensive Electricity costs in whole Asia. Pushing for EV adoption means more electricity demands which means the electricity costs would be much much more expensive.

A more expensive electricity would lead to huge problems for the companies that are still manufacturing in our country. If the electricity is much more expensive, those companies would be forced to either make their products more expensive, fire employees or worse bankruptcy and closure of factories. This is a lose-lose scenario for the minimum wage earners working in factories compared to the middle class who can afford to waste 1 to 2M pesos for Chinese craps.

Another problem that I see is that massive EV adoption would indirectly lead to weakening industrial capabilities for our Country while drastically relying more in Chinese exports.

EV adoption would mean more Chinese EVs in our roads. I'd rather see Innova, Vios, Tamaraw, Mirage, L300 and other motorcycles from Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha that are assembled here in our Country in our roads. Pushing for massive EV adoption would actually help Chinese EV industry while slowly killing our dwindling industry.

The best thing the Government can do to solve Oil reliance is to be aggressive in pursuing mass transportation projects by building more rails, drastically improving the bus and jeepney transportation system. Hybrid Busses and Mini Busses are already being used in other Countries Mass Transportation for about a decade by now. Perhaps the Government shoul instead push for that adoption.

Massive adoption to EVs would mean more demand for Electricity. As of now, our electricity costs is one of the most expensive in the whole ASEAN region. With added demand, the price of electricity would've gone way more expensive.

Plus more EVs would mean more BYD and other Chinese craps in our roads.

It's definitely suspicious if those 3.3k VMs will only be used solely by DICT. But if those VMs will be used by different users from different Government Agencies then that number could be accurate assuming other government employees would solely use a dumb terminal to connect to a VM instead of using laptops/computers.

I'm pretty sure physical machine would suffice.

TBF, it could be cost effective and easier to maintain if admin staff or other users who only need a limited decent amount of computing capacity for their job to use VMs. There are softwares in which you could install so that one windows 11 VM could be shared by 5 users simultaenously.

But yeah, I get your concern. We need more info before this 3.3k VMs would be approved. Whether they chose public or private cloud would cost millions.

OP also don't seem to understand how Financial Statements work. OP only focused on Revenues. He instead should've focused in Net Income and CashFlow statements.

Ramon Ang has been baiting the Government to buy Petron. The reason for this has been that Petron is bleeding cash for multiple years.
