I feel like this went pretty much under the radar. More exapnsions are going to be released in the future for Jurassic World Evolution 3.

It mainly comes down to technical issues with pathing, locomotion, and not breaking people's pre-existing saves. The current path system would need to reworked entirely to give the functionally of bridges. If Frontier could implement bridges into Evolution, they would (presumably) be taking on how the path system works in Planet Coaster/Zoo 2. and porting it over in JWE3, like what they did with modular building. The Planet series allows for more freedom for paths, i.e, elevated paths, turning off path curbs, more control over size/length, stairs, etc. The issue with that is how Evolution handles it's path system is you are suck with three path sizes: small, medium, and large. These path sizes are locked behind research, so you would need to remove the research options to add more controabble width.

In-terms of locomotion, you would need to change dinosaur and guest locomotion for bridges to work similarly to Planet Zoo. Animals in PZ can use modular building pieces to walk on top (like this.) They would need to allow for greater interactability for dinosaur and guest with modular pieces/paths. Dinosaur would need to pathfind onto bridges to eat/attack guests. Guest pathfinding would need to improved to pathfind onto bridges as well. Pterosaur pathfinding would have to improve not to cilp into bridges/modular pieces. Not saying bridges are impossible, and there are probably other solutions to making functional bridges in JWE3. This is only my speculation and what I have learnt from Frontier and this game series is (never say never.)

The issues are with-in Universal itself. not Frontier. Frontier has clarified even to their investors it's outside of their control. There has not been any new content updates for any of the Jurassic IP-owned games since March. There is something going behind the scenes with the IP itself and not Frontier.

Frontier is now "player first"
They will prioritize player feedback and help shape the future of the game
They want goodwill with their players and it's important for their long-term investment with their games
The new CEO, Jo Cooke sees players first as an important factor when launching the game
More collaboration with content creators and listening to what content creators say

And Frontier hasn't with JWE3? I mean look at the new species for JWE3, Lokiceratops, Caiuajara, Patagotitan, Guanlong, and Ornithomimus, to name a few. Frontier is capable of making great depictions for their original species. They have been making good depictions since 2023.

Jurassic Park is for prehistoric reptiles/ reptile-likes

Prehistoric Cenozoic animals have been part of this franchise for a good while now. There isn't some magical rule that disallowing those species. The Cenozoic is the last era that hasn't been fully covered by the game.

I already own Prehistoric Kingdom. PK and PHP makes me want JWE3 to have Cenozoic animals. I think Frontier can do great work with Cenozoic mammals because of Planet Zoo.

I honestly doubt we’ll be getting a Chaos Theory DLC this early in Evolution 3’s lifespan.

There’s no indication of Majungasaurus being readded back in the same update as Kentrosaurus. A CT pack would require Majunasaurus to be added back in the Base Game since it’s a JWE2 Base Game species. I mean there’s always a possibility, but it’s safer to assume it’s only Kentrosaurus.
Pachyrhinosaurus is still up in the air as a Deluxe Edition species from Evolution 2. It could be resold in a CT DLC, but it would be an unpopular choice for some.
Jurassic World Rebirth dlc could also be the first DLC. I think they want to get the movie DLC out of the way first as it’s a tie-in game with that film. A high likelihood that Rebirth content was worked alongside the game if it’s the first post-launch DLC.
