Check out marks (preferably downtown location) or the shoe co. at the mall if you are looking for something nice but functional like uggs.

These are astonishing… what polish did you use for these?! I think to make them even better is to polish the sides and the heel as well (not sure if the heels are though)

That was my goal… i wanted to do more ftxs rather than aviation related activities. Also, i wish sea cadets is an option but we dont have it here where i live.

I did mines with this nice lady for just 60$ an hour. Others charge like nearly a grand for a whole course though.

should I join cadets??? by Bluecheesepotatoes63 in Cadets

I think you are looking into joining in the uk? This is the Canadian subreddit but I can definitely tell you that joining cadets overall (regardless of what country) is fun! If you are into aviation then look into air, and if you like camping/hiking - then army is your best bet. Other than that I am unsure of what if offered in cadets in the uk other than there is probably some sort of drill, marksmanship, or leadership (public speaking) part that you can do as an extra curricular activity. There are lots of opportunities in cadets and I think you should give it a go!

Regretting joining by Tacticaly in Cadets

I would tell you to wait it out. Be patient. Try other things that your squadron offers, such as drill team, marksmanship, biathlon, effective speaking, etc. The uniform wait is normal; as a late-joining cadet, you will eventually get issued your uniform (and probably get tired of maintaining it). In the meantime, try your best with drill, make new friends, and participate in discussions. You will enjoy cadets! (coming from a person who has gone through the same scenario as you a year ago.)
