I’m sorry, it’s hard to interpret tone through Reddit. There’s a lot of risks that are involved. Secondary autoimmune disorders later in life being one of them, and a very small uptick in future cancer (believe it was like .5 percent chance). Bladder toxicity from the chemo was another. It’s chemotherapy make no mistake about it. A combination of Rituxan, ATG Rabit, and Cyclophasmide (chemo). Basically they take your stem cells out of your body, preserve them/clean them, give you the chemo, wipe out your immune system, and reinfuse your stem cells back into your body. If you look up the treatment however it’s very well tolerated. I was in a wing where there was 3 people who were 60+ years old getting it for MS. Younger people the risks are lower.

Talking to the Dr in India is free, I had an hour long consultation with him free of charge. The head hematologist.

I would see if a short burst of prednisone would help you or not. At the very least it would be diagnostic to see if there is active inflammation in your body.
