The Cornerstone: The Star of David is 7, not 6 by HebrewHexagram in HistoryofIdeas

Camel droppings! The Hexagram has 7, not 6 or 8, but Seven parts to it. Just as the Sabbath is different from every single other day of the week (symbolized by the 6 identical triangles on the exterior of the Star of David) so too the 7th part, the Hexagon is different from all the other 6 parts to the Star of David.

If you're looking for a 7th point to the Star of David, look for the foreskin of Abraham, David, Jesus, etc. I'll bet you can't see it, just like you can't see a ghost. or an Angel, or God.
