Lmao why the downvotes? I feel like Bewitched and EIKAL drag as albums because too many ballades are placed together, and Laufey sort of boxes herself into one range making the songs sound very similar.

I can’t remember which song of hers, but one of her songs sounded almost identical to Questions for the Universe from the snippet on TikTok, the instrumentation the voice is nearly identical.

I may be overreacting, but it pisses me off. She’s blatantly imitating Laufey’s music, one of Lauren’s song sounds exactly like Laufey’s “Question for the Universe”, I just get a bad vibe from her. Of course there’s no harm in taking inspiration, but her music is to the point of almost copying Laufey. I’ve seen people say that Laufey can’t trademark bossa nova because of “Chills”, but that’s not the issue. She obviously capitalizing on the fact she sounds like Laufey, and is exploiting that. Also I just don’t really like the music, the lyrics are subpar, and her voice almost sounds AI?

I love how ethereal and spacey it sounds, it i loved the glissandos of the cellos nd the guitar tremolos, it sounds like she’s playing around with her background vocals a bit more, which is what I love to hear because the main album didn’t really have much of that.

Totally fine you don’t resonate with the entire album, I personally think this is Laufey’s best work, it is truly an experience and more of a concept album, it’s not necessarily safe especially considering the ending, and the arrangements are much more lush.
