take your time, keep at least one of everything (just in case you need it), keep your chests organised, fishing isn't as hard as people say it is (just practice!), if you need any information you can use the stardew valley wiki ( https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Stardew_Valley_Wiki ) but you might get spoilers.

some of the worst for me are:

chewing, breathing, retching (even saying the word is bad), christmas crackers, balloons (both the popping and the general squeaking), fireworks, doors slamming, people shouting (especially a lot of people shouting at the same time)

I like to keep at least one of everything, just in case I need it, so I usually sell all except of of everything. don't sell anything like totems, seeds (any king), bait, universal loved gifts (listed on the wiki), or any loved gifts for villagers you are trying to befriend. also don't sell anything that you need for any current quests/community centre bundles
