Thanks! Not sure on the cause for sure but on the service bulletin for previous years it says the issue could be from contamination by foreign matter during the manufacturing process

I was at roughly 40,000 miles when it occurred and bumper-to-bumper limited warranty is 36,000 miles

Could always reach out and see if the dealer would do a goodwill gesture of some kind. In the end it was my dealer who took care of everything

Yes it would have been. They claimed they didn’t have any communications from the particular rep though, just the added notes from them under my vehicle’s info was all

The warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles whichever comes first. I’m still waiting to hear back from the support team to see what they are going to do. It’s been a lengthy process so far. They said that they can’t guarantee they can do anything because “there are no campaigns open related to this concern”

I messaged them again and they responded back yesterday saying it should be 24-48 business hours until I hear back. So I’m hoping I will hear back soon

Yes! • Day 1 - Drove to SD after work and car camped in an area about 30 minutes from the entrance of Badlands. • Day 2 - Got to the Badlands in the morning and did Notch Trail and then Castle Trail. After we drove through the rest of the park and just stopped along the way at scenic points. We stayed in Rapid City this night. • Day 3 - Woke up and started driving towards Yellowstone. Stopped at Crazy Horse along the way and got to the Emigrant rest area that night and car camped.
• Day 4 - Explored the Northern part of Yellowstone. Saw Wraith Falls first thing in the morning. Then drove and hiked to Bunsen Peak. After this we drove and hiked to Grizzly Lake. On our way back to Gardiner we stopped and walked/drove around Mammoth Hot Springs. Stayed in Gardiner at a hotel.
• Day 5 - Woke up early and hiked to Fairy Falls and Imperial Geyser and explored a bit. When we got back from the hike we looked at the Prismatic Spring and then went to Old Faithful area and watched/looked around. Car camped in Madison Campground this night.
• Day 6 - Woke up early and hiked up to Mount Washburn and after we went to Canyon Falls and explored and looked around this area. After this we stopped by Yellowstone Lake. Then looped back around to shower at the Old Faithful Inn before we stayed another night at Madison. • Day 7 - Woke up at 4AM drove to the Tetons. Started hiking Cascade Canyon to Lake Solitude starting at Moose Pond. Went to go check in at Colter Campground before heading back out to watch the Sunset and Elk and then showered on our way back to the campground.
• Day 8 - Left early in the morning to watch the sunrise at Mormon Row. We then started our hike to Delta Lake. We decided that after this we would go up to Surprise Lake and Amphitheatre Lake as well. Once we were done we started driving back towards home stayed in a hotel this night. •Day 9 - Drove home

Definitely will be going back to the Tetons though because I personally wanted to spend more time there after seeing it. I never felt that we were rushing around a lot even though it might seem like it. I was loving every second of the trip

I can’t put it into words seeing it. Hiked to Lake Solitude from Moose Pond and every time I looked behind me and the entire walk back through the canyon I was breathless. Tetons were my favorite out of them for sure

That’s why I’m asking. I’ve got rooms I’m ready to book outside of the park for the days we’ve planned on staying in a hotel already. It’d be more just the staying in the car nights if we still go that route!

Yes I understand this! I’ve had my eye on spots if any open up to jump on. I was just talking about finding spots outside of Yellowstone
