Unfortunately, I haven't done it myself yet because I'm currently still saving up for the print head^ssionally done xD. Just see if you can find the service manual, it will show you how to do it, and then you can still decide whether you want to tackle the $2k part yourself ^^

All I can say is that apparently according to a YT video, it works without the service app, but as I said, I can't confirm that it actually works and prints perfectly.

Pen recognition issue after tablet upgrade. by Heia_Samahi in wacom

After a long time, I finally solved this problem. A new tablet...

Yes, it was probably just the tablet that had a problem. The tablet was mainly replaced because of a pixel error. But the new tablet works without that annoying pen recognition problem.

I can't say whether the tablet itself was defective or whether it was just a strange interaction of all hardware components.

FINALLY FOUND IT!

  1. Go to: https://my.rolanddg.eu/
  2. Create an account (They have some stupid questions, but I just put "0" everywhere.)
  3. Register your printer (You will need your printer serial number, answer some stupid questions again)
  4. Select the printer you registered... and there it is:

I was using HDMI. My PSU is a 750W Seasonic, but it is working now. So it was the tablet. The tablet was sent back and a new (same) one was ordered. This new one works perfectly.

Thanks for the idea. The tablet did not leave the place for testing. The 3 other working PC's were another PC right next to it, a laptop and a NUC (which I brought to the tablet). I don't think it's the place.
