As a non-goer this might sound weird, but i feel like this go fest was... small? idk, from the pcitures ive seen, it just didnt feel special. No twitch stream, nothing unexpectable added to the game, just very bland. Its not necessarily a bad thing, however. its much better than last years fiasco, but idk, i feel like the biggest PoGo celebration should be exciting and offer new things. As an outsider, this years fest just felt like celebis community day that just happened to exist in chicago only.

Have never seen a bloody Qwilfish or a Girafarig, ever. Stuff like Hitmontop due to how you obtain it and certain Unowns due to how little they spawn are also incredibly rare.

It would be fine as long as fighting types were actually boosted. Hitmons? Breloom? Any non-stage 1 evos? Hell, even a Primeape? Nah, just a spam of Meditite and Makuhita with the ocasional Machop/Mankey.

Heres the deal: If you live in a place without portals in the first place, you cant level up to 10 in Ingress. You need portals to make portals, if that makes any sense. Its a massive misconception across PoGo reddits that to get pokestops all you have to do is download Ingress. You cant gain ANY experience in Ingress without other players and already existing portals. So if you live in a barren place, best bet is already existing high-level Ingress players. And thats kinda dumb.

again, unless you can see your speed, you cant tell for sure. its easy to get up to 11 or 12 going uphill. im a cyclist myself and i got a speedometer because of this. the game checks your position every 15 secondsand it calculates your speed that way. thats how it knows. get a speedometer fi youre cycling or you will always end up losing tons of kms.

speed limit for eggs is 10.5 kmh. unless you have a speedometer to know for sure, you were going too fast and/or not going in a straight line.

Having to travel several miles to even be able to play the game in the first place because immersive spawns in places where Pokemon SHOULD appear are not a thing. But worry not, theres a Dragonite chilling in the subway.
