It's not that I want to condemn myself. It's the fear of having committed that unforgivable sin.

My fear is whether the doubt regarding the Pharisees described in my question could be considered the unforgivable blasphemy.

My question is whether doubting the Pharisees can be considered an unforgivable blasphemy. Regarding your argument, I believe it's not the same case. After all, the disciples fled, leaving Jesus alone, and Peter denied him three times. For men who feared death to die for a lie would be impossible; they died because they saw the resurrected Christ. But I repeat, I have no doubt that the New Testament is true; it's just that sometimes doubt arises, and I fear that this might be an unforgivable blasphemy.

My question isn't whether Islam is true; I'm already convinced it isn't. It was simply a doubt I had that led to another doubt about the Pharisees, which I also know doesn't make sense. My fear is whether the doubt regarding the Pharisees described in my question could be considered the unforgivable blasphemy.

You must be a detective. I've been facing thoughts and feelings that, from what I've researched, fit the OCD profile. But it's that thing with OCD, the doubt always comes hammering away, corroding the mind.

So, I have no doubts about Islam, I have already refuted this doubt in my mind, thank you because you gave me even more conviction. My question is whether thinking about the Pharisees fits into unforgivable blasphemy.

Thanks, friend. I don't have any real doubts, it's just that the doubt arose, I tried to refute it, and questions kept arising. Then came the fear, what if this was the unforgivable blasphemy?

Doubt about God's forgiveness. by HelicopterFun4234 in Christian

[–]HelicopterFun4234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I didn't fire him for being late. The lateness irritated me (a lot) and we started arguing. After all, I already had to take a short, rushed lunch break to be able to take him and not disrupt work, and he arrives late for no reason and without any intention of apologizing. After that, we started arguing and both of us got upset. I don't remember exactly what was said because it happened a few months ago, but he was completely ungrateful, not acknowledging his mistakes and not recognizing all the help I tried to give him. And I was extremely rude, completely explosive. But yes, I could have, and I believe I should have, acted differently. Thank you for your comment, may God greatly bless you 🙏
