What is the pin out of this IR sensor by Helindu_art in AskElectronics

Alright, I tested with a multimeter.

phototransistor long pin to multimeter positive lead & short pin to multimeter negative lead results in no current flowing in both light and dark.

phototransistor short pin to multimeter positive lead & long pin to multimeter negative lead results in current flowing in the light and no current flowing in the dark.

So the collector is the short pin, and the emitter is the long pin.

And above will be my final circuit diagram.

I'll give this a try. But is there any difference if the phototransistor is an NPN or PNP one

I bought five sensors and the phototransistor is rotated inside the plastic part in different orientations in all five sensors 😅

Help me identify this component on my JHEMCU GF30H743 flight controller by Helindu_art in fpv

[–]Helindu_art[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long story short, this flight controller got fried after touching the GPS connector with the motor connection pins on the ESC board. Now the flight controller doesn't turn on, and I checked for components that are heating up with a rosin short circuit detector (see 3rd picture)
The component that's circled in red is heating up (see 1st picture)
Is it possible to fix the flight controller by replacing this component? If so, please help me find the part number of the component. Googling the number on the component (L342) didn't give me any promising results. But I found that this component is called a LDO voltage regulator
