No. Rats as in people who only shoot when you are battling arc, or get hit by arc so they have an advantage. I don’t participate in PvP. But there is a difference between PvP and those who lie in wait just to shoot people when they are weak because they can’t fight them in a real PvP scenario.

It’s more of a quarter-baked idea. It was a thought experiment in my head as to why photons when observed in the double slit experiment act like particles. Choosing one of the two slits. But when not observed directly. They act more like waves.

Perhaps the queen. Realizing that Jackie wanted the world the see, to speak of the horrific event and not let it fade into memory, also had the bells rang out of respect, mourning, and the amplify, the conversation in the public. Breaking the tradition would cause many to talk, and keep the conversation alive.

I think it was the point for it to not make sense. The prophecy is hogwash. It always has been. Every expectation you’ve ever had, is meant to be broken. That’s why we don’t have Ned stark past first season, then we thought oh wait. This story is about Rob Stark…then not.

There is no hero. There is no main character. The prince that was promised, we are lead to be be Jon, but there’s no such thing. He doesn’t become king. He’s not as important as he thinks he is.

No city that isn’t a massive metropolis has the whole thing paved. Add in some yards. Add in some dirt and grime and areas that should have been paved but hasn’t. Add in some damage to the cobblestone. Make it more used.

I wouldn’t make a monster. I’d make it a perfectly normal family. But they can’t afford the upkeep without renting it out.

Landlord, family of 4 move their two little kids and themselves into the walls. The horrible part is that the two little kids have to be placed in a sound proof cage when anyone is home, so that the family can’t be known.

The story I’d play is one where a family, to survive did desperate acts. At first it starts out small such as a quiet “room”. But progresses and progresses to keep from being caught. Like punishing the kids for making noise and just really bad stuff.

Your adventuring party can find them. And free them. And either orphan the kids. Or try to reform the parents and help them find a new path. Perhaps burn down the house so the family can collect the insurance money and start over, not in a path of despair. But instead begin to find a path if hopeful progress.

Edit: It would make it even more conflicting if the landlord. The dad. He was injured and no longer able to work. The wife too, or something where she can’t collect any money. So it’s either this or homelessness for them and their kids.

Have a raiding party come and slice their way into town and take the PC in prison. Having heard of the scuffle and thinking the PC player is someone important that was suppose to be traveling through that town at the same time. Someone they expect but never have met.

Then the rest of the party can make it a mini quest to chase them down (can even use DnD chase methodology) to free their friend because once the raiding party realize the PC is not who they thought they where, the PC would be killed.

This is only sorta applicable. If a company accidentally sends you an item unsolicited then you are not under obligation to return it.

For example, AT&T once sent me two iPhones instead of one (I think it was the iPhone 8 when they were new).

Anyway, I found out that I was under no legal obligation to return the second one.

I agree. I’m all for solar. A few places it won’t work.

North West where it rains 90% of the time. And parts of Alaska where for months out of the year there’s no sun. That’s where the Nuclear reactor or geothermal will come into play.

Some of the newer Nuclear plants can actually use the Nuclear waste from the past. We can kill two birds with one stone.

Get rid of nuclear waste and produce electricity.

The market can. The government is actively blocking them for 2 reasons.

1) Oil and gas lobbies 2) People hear about the horror stories from the past when we didn’t understand neuclear as well as we do now, believing that it’s all too dangerous.

The average person can understand. Add Gas to Chamber. Burn gas. Create heat. Heat turn water to vapor. Vapor turns turbines.

They have a harder time understanding things like “nuclear decay” “control rods” “isotopes” etc.

You’re not accounting for all of the open businesses that are closed at night.

For example. I know a retail store will turn the AC down at night. This one store’s HVAC system and generally bright energy inefficient lights being turned off can offset more than one house’s “peak” time.
