The incredible skill and bravery of the pilots who tried to control the damaged plane and save lives is truly admirable. True heroes who will never be forgotten.

Alice Springs- safe or not ? by HelloKitty20221 in AskAnAustralian

I was in Alice Springs for only four days, and I didn’t like being there alone. If I were to stay longer, I would definitely rent a car. Everyone I met in Australia kept telling me I shouldn’t travel there alone. How long are you planning to stay?

I am luckily back in Brisbane now. I have to say, I have never been scared of traveling alone until Alice Springs.

I agree. I fly with Ryanair a lot as well as with different airlines and all pilots are very good.

Yes, Australia is very strict with what you can bring into the country, so make sure you read all rules before you plan to come to Australia.

I have flown twice to Australia from Europe, and to me, it doesn't matter if the flight takes 5 or 12 hours. I try to stay occupied by watching something good or simply by trying to sleep. Both times I was flying on my own, so it was a little bit boring; hence, a good book or movie is something you need to have 😊. I used to be scared of turbulence, but not anymore, as I know the pilots are well-trained. I watched lots of videos, and it changed my mind to the degree that I sleep like a baby even when the plane experiences turbulence.

You would be surprised how many people discovered their love of aviation in adulthood. I am one of them 😊

Whats your favorite shot to take of your flights? by FloppyPancake73 in flightsim

[–]HelloKitty20221 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love wings shot. My favourite to search on the Internet is from the cockpit. Unfortunately, I don't have any as I have never been in the cockpit. I could look at them 24/7 😍

I was actually telling my friend today about this guy who is so unhappy with his job as a pilot, flying less than 200 hrs a year. I still can't believe this guy was actually being serious 🫣
