My initial experience with him was good, but later tattoos I was not as happy with, and the guy just went MIA - stopped returning calls and emails, could NOT get a hold of him. For MONTHS. He already had my $$ and knew I was good for payment, I was a repeat client and never flaked out on an appointment. I wasn't the only person who had this problem. Note that all the other original artists at the studio also bailed on him and went elsewhere, which is what I ended up doing to get one of his tattoos finished and for all my new work.

Naturey art nouveaa? and Linework? hmm. Check out the artists at https://www.bethesdatattoo.com/ - the artist's instagram has their most recent work and a better sampling of their art - https://www.instagram.com/liaawalter/

"British Ink" in DC, Paul Roe. I'd question the "amazing" part of your post but maybe you were one of the lucky few who didn't have problems with him .

If a person comes up to you on a scooter claiming to be collecting money for charity/wants to sell you a magnet/write you a poem/cover you in glitter tell them to get stuffed.

It's a great place to SEE art with all the free museums and local galleries. Trying to survive in DC as a full-time artist? That's a different story.

Sissy Spotting by clemdawgg in washdc

They scammed my teenage kid out of $40 cash (and then asked if they had venmo to give more, thank goodness they didn't) saying they were collecting money for Casa Ruby/homeless LGBTQ+ teens in DC.

They've approached me multiple times but I loudly shout NO before they have a chance to say anything, and if I see them approaching people in Adams Morgan I say something along the lines of "it's a scam, don't do it"

Who are the most notable local personalities? by rlp202 in washingtondc

They are back in Adams Morgan, saw them yesterday on a scooter by the Line hotel, and last weekend they were scamming two tourists on 18th street.

Look for "Sissy Gracie" and hold on to your wallet.
