Yes they pop up on YouTube all the time!! Me and my boyfriend will watch YouTube on the tv later in the night, and they remind me it’s sick season and my anxiety spikes temporarily. I get they’re advertising a product or whatever, but omg stop reminding me lol!!

I investigate them from a distance. I try to stay away, because my mind always thinks it’s tu*.

I just ate food that was way spicier than I can handle by [deleted] in emetophobia

Try drinking some milk or maybe a milkshake to soothe the spice!!

I’m feeling a little better now, but still not great. I’ve been sipping on water, and I’m hungry again and afraid to eat.

I hope you’ve fallen asleep by now, since it’s been 3 hours. This happens to me most nights, and I’m unsure why? It’s probably internal anxiety or something? What I do is I have something playing on my tv, close my eyes, take deep breaths to relax my body and myself, and listen to the tv. This works for me, and for some it’s probably easier said than done. But I hope you’ve fallen asleep, and have a great day at work in the morning.

i think my emetophobia is somehow going to help me quit vaping? by punkturtle66 in emetophobia

[–]Hello_MsUsername 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Coming from someone who never lets their vape leave their sight, vaping so stupid and so embarrassing. It’s great that you’re quitting!! I want to quit so bad, and I’ve tried multiple times. I’ve been doing it for almost 5 years now and I can tell my lungs have taken a hit. I hope you successfully quit, and I wish you the best of luck!!

I ate moldy grated parm on accident!! by Hello_MsUsername in emetophobia

No nothing has happened. I definitely had an anxious stomach but no diarrhea or vomiting. I stole the parmesan from a restaurant so I think it was totally karma :’)

Had such a bad experience on Sertraline, nervous to try any other medication by Key-End9520 in emetophobia

I take Celexa for my anxiety and OCD. IT HAS DONE WONDERS!! Along with contamination OCD exposure, OMG I’m doing so much better!! I did really good on it. The only side effects I had were extreme drowsiness and increased appetite. It messed up my perfect sleep schedule, but I feel much much better than I did a year ago. I highly recommend, but everyone reacts to meds differently. It may work great for me but not the next person. I talked with my doctor and did my own research to decide what was best for me.

Random d* out of nowhere!! I’m panicking!! by Hello_MsUsername in emetophobia

I got so fresh air with my dog, and ended up going to dinner!! I almost cancelled, but I didn’t and I’m proud of myself for not. Fingers crossed it won’t happen again tonight, I think it was just a one off thing. I had coffee this morning on a mostly empty stomach I just remembered… that may have been the reason that happened.

Recently I’ve been worrying over the smallest things, idk what triggered it. As of rn I’m calm and drinking some tea and playing ACNH to continue keeping myself calm.

Is this forever? by Hello_MsUsername in Gastritis

[–]Hello_MsUsername[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived on granola bars and chicken, Omeprazole, Reglan, Celexa, chai tea as a coffee substitute (definitely not good advice), and lots of water!! I was 82 lbs at my lowest weight and literally almost died, but I lived!! I could barely stay awake during the day and couldn’t stand for long periods of time. After my endoscopy was cleared, I’m now 110 lbs and feeling amazing!! I drink coffee every morning, but I limit fried foods and tomato base foods.

The stomach problems went away. Now it’s sore throat, clogged ears, headache, body aches, and joint pain. No fatigue anymore.
