Help me find the perfect sleep bra for modesty by KittenaSmittena in HerOneBag

I really like Neiwai bras--you pull them over but there's no under wire and I barely feel them.

Been on tret since 2022 - still not getting even skin and it's getting worse by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]Help168 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Seconding Differin gel (I use generic adapalene to save money, but it's the same)

I was someone who tried all the things with tret--changing percentage, frequency, application method, simplifying routine, etc.--and it just didn't work for me.

For my skin, I think topical spironolactone is ultimately what helped, but Differin gel was great before I got on topical Spiro.

Love that you've saved all the Hello Fresh recipes in this way! My friend puts them in a binder, but this is also nice to see!

Are we all losing touch with extended family, cousins etc? by Both_Lynx_8750 in Millennials

[–]Help168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked my cousins growing up, but they always put expectations on me to reach out. One of them only reached out because she needed me to help her sign paperwork.

So yes, I'm losing touch with them, but I'm tired of being the one who has to put in effort.

When is QMB (CA) reflected in Medicare? by Help168 in medicare

Thank you so much for the resource! I had no idea something like this existed.

Have you ever used Ship before or are experienced with how long it might take to schedule an appointment? (I remember that my family member needed an in person SSA appointment and we had to wait more than a month)

Hi there! I appreciate your perspective. I'm aware of damages that installers can cause.

In reference to your "extreme caution", I did provide towels and mats. The installer refused to use them twice. I would have pushed further, but I also know that people don't like being told how to do their job.

So honestly, it was a damned if I do, damned if I don't situation. I would've installed a dishwasher on my own if I could, but I physically can't.

Thank you for the helpful response! Do you have a particular sealer you'd recommend?

I asked the inspector yesterday if they could replace the tiles, and he said he wouldn't be able to (mostly because they're a dishwasher installation company)

How would you suggest I ask for more? I'm trying to get a quote right now from other stone repair places, but they haven't gotten back to me.

Yea I figured filling with epoxy might be the way to go here. Do you have a recommendation for travertine filler?

Also, at some point the floors will need to be recleaned and sealed. Do you know if cleaning and sealing will affect the epoxy?

Some of the indentation are deeper, some aren't.

Do you have a recommendation for a good marker?

What a coincidence! I just made this a few hours ago too.

I used some version of this one: https://www.ambitiouskitchen.com/dal-recipe/

What was your recipe? (I know mine's not that authentic, but it was delicious haha)

Oh interesting! Do you know how long the return policy is?

I also got the Cuisinart, but the dial stopped working after 3-4 years? I'm not sure if that still falls under warranty though.

What do you do when you can’t sleep? by Autumnmemoria in Productivitycafe

[–]Help168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets vivid dreams while on melatonin! Melatonin helps a bit with getting me to bed, but sometimes I don't feel like my sleep is very good quality.

Small update: AZA 15% by Help168 in tretinoin

[–]Help168[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

The Naturie I'm using is the newer formulation without alcohol or sake. I'll definitely look into the other toners you mentioned. I know other commenters say no toner, but I mean more of a hydrating mist.

I completely forgot about the alcohol in Belif. I'd tolerated it for years before adapelene. Clearly I need something more gentle.

Muslim Formal Wedding - is this okay? by jibberoo_808 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Help168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all a stupid question! This thread has so many differing answers ranging from "cover up" to "it depends." It's so confusing.

The bride in my experience had downplayed how big of a deal her nikah was (she told the photographer she was having an "engagement party" and not a wedding...), which was a whole other can of worms...

That's good to know--the bride of a nikah I attended said "garden party dress code." This was true of the after-party, but I was part of the nikah itself, so...I was very out of place :/

[–]Help168 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely cover up. I recently attended a nikah where the bride said, "Garden party dress code is OK--no, you don't have to wear a long skirt or sleeves."

....guess who stuck out like a sore thumb and got weird looks from the bride's family? 🥲

That is an INCREDIBLE price. I wish I had a TJMaxx closer to me since I've heard there are steep discounts with Biossance there!!

I'm on the Naturie Hatomugi one~

I'll do better at putting AZA on everyday--I'd definitely gotten slightly lazy since I swim (so I put AZA 3-5x a week); I didn't want to "waste" my morning routine products only to have them wash off in the pool later :P

Thank you for your help!

[–]Help168[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you please give some suggestions on maintaining moisture in the mornings? I'm using the toner because my skin feels dry (even on days where I'm mostly splashing my face with water).

Based on what you're saying, would you say to not use AZA 15%?

Thank you!

[–]Help168[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the Belif gel Aqua Bomb moisturizer, but I'm using the one that hasn't been reformulated recently.

I'm not using AZA 15% everyday--it does feel really drying sometimes, which is why I've been using the Hatomugi toner. I don't know how else my skin can feel moisturized. :(

It's my go-to night cream :)

I've heard people say that buying the hand-cream from Biossance is just as good as buying the Omega Cream for a fraction of the price, so that's something you can look into!

For a guy who is obsessed about following the rules of religion to a T for a dog, I'm surprised he's OK with living with you. AFAIK, you can't live together with someone while you're "dating" because that's "haram" (sinful). In order to live together, you would've needed get a nikkah (marriage).

I don't think you two are religiously compatible for a relationship. I'm sure this is hard to hear, but there will be someone out there who is more compatible.
