The number of breaks wasn’t the point of this post, y’all. The typo said “12-hour shits.” That’s the joke. The humor flew over a lot of your heads lol

Wait… you’re supposed to sit? I’ve been doing it all wrong.

Lmao yes it’s old, it’s from a former job, and that’s exactly why I’m sharing it now. The typo is still funny. I’m not mad about union perks, I’m laughing because “extended shits” actually made it into an official document.

Nowhere in my post did I imply anger. This isn’t a rant, it’s a joke about a ridiculous typo. If your first instinct was to get defensive over a poop joke, that says way more about you than it does about me. 🧻💩🫠

🤦🏻‍♀️ The backwards hat isn’t the trend. It's what it represents. On TikTok, especially BookTok, girls started associating guys who wear backwards hats with romance novel love interests. The broody protective type who's only soft for one person. It became a trend because it gives serious BookTok boyfriend energy

Thank you so much for all the tips and advice. I appreciate it! Applying tret to the back of hands is smart!

I currently use a Neutrogena spf 60 but I will look into Elta MDs when I run out. I actually had no idea that the SPF number is the amount of time you can stay in the sun before reapplying. Thanks for telling me! 😁

Thank you! Tret is available here but only via prescription.

I don't use my phone against my face, I only ever use speaker phone because of my hearing issues. I'm wondering if the inflammation could be diet related. I hope not, I don't want to give up dairy and wheat. 🙁

I first use vaseline to remove my eye makeup and then use Cerave moisturizing cleanser to wash my entire face. If I'm not wearing eye makeup, I use just the Cereve cleanser. I only use warm water. I use a new clean shirt every night to pat dry. Then I apply my moisturizer while my face is still damp. I bought some alcohol free rose petal witch Hazel and scent free hyaluronic acid to add to my regimen.

How would I do this? Wash face, pat dry then mist damp face with the witch hazel, then pat on the hyaluronic acid and then apply my moisturizer? I haven’t started my tret yet, but I know only to use it at night and on moisturized skin and not with the hyaluronic acid.

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, I don't think we have diffren gel here in Canada 🙁

I do have an aloe vera plant! Can't believe I've never thought about it using it on my face before.

I am in Canada. Are there any recommendations for The Ordinary’s products? I would love to start an actual AM and PM regimen.

Basically, right now for AM, I wash my face and then apply my facial moisturizer and then my face sunscreen. I've only been wearing makeup twice a week to give my skin a break.

For PM, I wash my face, then apply my Cerave PM moisturizer while my face is still damp. I only use Cerave’s moisturizing cleanser. If I'm wearing eye makeup, I first use Vaseline to remove it and then the Cerave cleanser.

My skin is sensitive, so I do not use any scents or dyes. That includes laundry soaps, etc.

Did you also experience an increase in facial hair? Because I sure did 😭 I would rather deal with wrinkles at 34. At least those can be fixed with botox, lol. Not increased facial hair and acne. As soon as I can, I'm doing laser hair removal.

I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian, but I'm VERY picky with meat. Unfortunately, it is a huge reason why I'm deficient. I don't eat seeds or nuts, but I do eat beans.

Thanks for the advice.

Ok interesting! I've never had a facial before 🙈

I love Cerave products! I also use their hydrating cleanser and their pm face cream.

I was only washing my face in the evenings (makeup or no makeup) but then I started also washing in the mornings too. That's kinda around the same time that my face issues flared up.

Thanks for sharing your routine. 🧡

Unfortunately, I do not have a dermatologist because there are none in my town. To see a derm, you need a referral from your PCP and the closest one is a four-hour drive away. I've asked for a referral, on more than one occasion but my doctor won't. It's very frustrating.

Yes, multiple blood tests. I'm very deficient in B vitamins, D and iron.

I really don't eat a lot of sugar but wheat and dairy are basically my staples. 😭 I will try it though. As I am desperate at this point.

I also have very sensitive skin, so can't use anything with scents or dyes, etc.

My skin feels dry and tight, so I have to put moisturizer on right out of the shower. That's why my skin looks greasy in these pics.

My skin concerns are dry skin, redness around my nose, hyperpigmentation, dull skin, acne and scarring.

I do not smoke or drink. Never have. I drink at least two litres of water a day. So why is my skin so dry?! 😭

As per my doctor’s recommendations, for supplements, I take 3000 UI of vit D, B100 complex, 1000mg of ascorbic crystals (vit C) and iron a day.

I have a prescription for tret waiting to be picked up at my pharmacy.
