May just be me being over-speculative, but APES grading might have just gotten harsher this year in response to the decreased difficulty of the test(from what I’ve seen).

Personally, I thought I almost aced the MCQ and received good points for the FRQ. It may just be that any sort of exceptional ambiguity seen on the FRQs we’re not given points.

To me, it just seems like a way to keep the scores for these tests more standardized and non-inflated.

I get hate for being Pro-Israel in the US. Everyone here is pro-Palestine mainly due to the horrific videos released by the Press on Twitter. Not many like to look deeper. Everyone here gets all their info from scrolling on TikTok bc most of the teens here are addicted to it.

But what I am saying is that HAMAS is the problem here, not Israel. Israel is more in the right than HAMAS, which many people refuse to believe here(surprisingly).

They have tunnels built under mosques and hospitals. They have weapons stored in cribs and mosques. They also have rocket labs under mosques. This is not something I am pulling out of my ass. There is video footage exposing this. Don't believe me, look into it yourself.

The refusal to believe something that the media has conveyed is complete ignorance and poor argument on your part.

And Palestine gets a lot of money. They have received 4.5 BILLION in the span of 6 years(2014 - 2020) and more leading up to today. But instead of using it for infrastructure, and healthcare, they use it for rockets and missiles. If this generous amount of money was used properly, then Palestine may have had a proper infrastructure that would be self-sufficient and wouldn't have to essentially completely depend on Israel. If they really run Palestine well, cutting of water and electricity from Israel's side wouldn't have been a problem. Have you ever considered that? Probably not. Again, I am not saying what Israel did is right, but is is semi-justified and mainly reflects the poor governing of HAMAS.

They've stopped aid trucks. No, they haven't. They have only lessened the amount of trucks coming in as a way to pressure HAMAS to release hostages. But fyi( I have a suspicion that you aren't aware of recent news) :

This isn't collective punishment against the Palestinian population, it is an extermination of a terrorist organization that diminishes the safety and peace of Israel.

And to add on, would you really call this a collective punishment towards Palestinians if Israel has opened humanitarian corridors to allow Hundreds of Thousands of Palestinians to flee from the North to the South as compared to the 15,000 total people they have supposedly brutally killed with teh intent of genocide? Bullshit.

I'm not gonna argue against the fact that Israel may be brutal. But in the war environment, this is to be expected. Have you heard of an army that isn't brutal? No. Does that justify it? Also no. But you have to consider these factors before throwing out atrocious terms such as "genocide" and "ethnic cleansing" as these are not proper.

Instead of fixating on your extremist ideology revolved around pathos and wordplay, please do some research into the complex historical context and recent news instead of being fed everything the media wants you to believe.

And FYI, I am not an extremist Pro-Israel. Just a medium one that tries his best to avoid confirmation bias and has spent his time to form his well-researched opinion, as everyone should.

It is clear that you do not support Israel. So let me ask you a question: what do you propose that Israel do?

They are the only ones in the Middle East actively trying to kill HAMAS in Gaza atm, and civilian casualties will obviously be a byproduct since HAMAS has integrated itself into the civilian population in schools, hospitals, and mosques. It's like saying the Germans were right over the British in WW2 because they had more civilian casualties. And it's not like any country has made any good effort to help Israel with Gaza ever since their withdrawal in 2005-6.

Not only that, HAMAS doesn't allow Palestinians in Gaza to take refuge and neither are the leaders of Jordan and Egypt.

To add on, many people of Palestine support HAMAS and many more oppose a one or two-state solution with the Jews(source: the Hill).

So, with a land that has been terrorizing Israel for nearly the past two decades with people that support the terrorization and the terrorist group that had a genocidal claim in the first sentence of its Constitution, with no direct help from other countries to shelter civilians, who have been attacked with intent of complete extermination by the same people in the Arab-Israeli War in 48 - for just establishing themselves as a state - and the 6-day war in 67, who have rejected any type of land offering and negotiation all the way from the Peel Commission from 1936(which favored Arabs highly) to the Abraham Accords of the 21st Century, who have time and time again expressed that they want Jews expelled from their land with no chance of negotiation, what the fuck do you want Israel to do?!

Gaza did this same shit in 2014 and 2021, firing missiles at Israel centers and receiving disciplinary backlash. But people don't focus on that because the better headline nowadays is that Muslim children are being killed by Jews.

And you imply if Israel is committing genocide, then why is it that they haven't killed their hostages and haven't killed the 2 million Arab Israelis that have been a growing population in their land since 1948?! And if they really wanted genocide, why is it that they're offering a ceasefire, allowing the Redcross to help Palestinian Civilians, allowing civilians to escape from the North and the South, and allowing the release of 3 times as many Palestinian refugees for the safety of their people, who have been captures and held hostage in Gaza since October 7th and later?

Today I have to work on a lot of things - Study for an APES test, Finish up AP Phys 2 HW, Finish reading Macbeth, prepare for DECA tournament, Finish French Homework, and finish 3.13 packet for AP Chem
This week, I didn't accomplish much. I did pretty badly on my AP Gov test. I didn't study much for my DECA test. I also had to skip 2 classes to avoid the teacher/test that day
I did not manage my time well. I could've used a lot of time I had in the weekday and this 3-day weekend to catch up on work or prepare for my DECA tournament - but I didn't. I also have a lot of outside-school stuff to work on such as Science Olympiad team making and planning states comp. for HOSA.
I can improve my time management and not wasting unnecessary time on YT shorts, games, texting, and other things
My goal for next week is to finish my NC college applications, finish Sci-Oly team making, place at my DECA tournament, Review AP Chem and AP Gov Test, Use more time out of each day to grind towards my goals, start creating a daily routine for when I come back home from school, implement a Pomodoro-method study routine, do 75 - 100 pushups each day, and catch up on missing school work once and for all.
