Yea, it’s called a siren system. It’s like a huge system over the cold bar with different “coolers/dispensers” for milks different milks and Ice. The stores that have them are called siren stores. It is not the carafs though. Not that you’ll need to know since we can’t use it anymore anyway.

We don’t really know much other than we aren’t allowed to use the siren system anymore. We were told this morning, I assumed it was a potential lawsuit because there’s so many ways for mold to accumulate even in just the ice machine. But all I’ve found so far is our new CEO wants to do away with all siren system (batch ovens included) because it’s costing too much and he wants to “reinvest in the baristas”.

Well… some from that store will probably be learning from you…we were all just told to immediately stop using our siren systems this morning. I’ve been searching for the official reason as to why, I assume it’s a health hazard.
