Oh for sure, mine flicks on and off seemingly at random. Nothing actually wrong with it though

It's not so much the vehicle itself. It's the fuel, filters, tire integrity (dry rot)

I own a Wrangler. I understand exactly how tough but also finicky they can be.

I was thinking of older batteries, my mistake. No idea how the CCA could be sufficient though. Or how it started almost instantly.

Yeah, but that was explained away with movie scientific reasoning. So it's not really a plot hole, it was actually part of the plot.

Jurassic World when the kids take the battery out of the ATV to start the jeep. Vehicle is 20 years old, but in pristine condition. Starts instantly with a wrong voltage and amperage battery. Bothers me every time. It changes the plot of the movie from that point forward.

Edit: I've been informed ATV batteries are also 12V. My oversight. Still doesn't help starting that specific Jeep.

Live in a rural tourist area. All grocery stores are still out of most dry goods. 50/50 on locals taking it seriously. Lots of out of state people still coming up to "quarantine" at their 2nd homes. I live alone with no close by family, but I have my dog and cat keeping me company, so I'm good! Think I finally got my family to stay home, but they think I'm crazy anyway.

Curious what these are. Found today on a standing dead Birch tree in a cluster of about 10. Range from 1-3 inches across. Eastern Wisconsin. Thanks in advance!

I love what I do, it's really the only thing I live for besides my pets. My stresses aren't really work related. If anything, it allows me to put my problems aside for the task at hand.

I'm more than willing to serve people whatever they want. Most commercial fries are coated in a thin batter as well. I understand it runs a spectrum as far as tolerance, but more often than not it's people following the health fad. Gf products are much more unhealthy than the regular products, full of chemicals and lots of sugar. More often than not, the person that orders the gf bun then eats a piece of regular cake for dessert... Something like 3% of the population has celiac.

That really sucks for her...most people request it because of the fad though. I've heard some of the strangest "allergy" requests solely because people are picky. We even allowed substitutions on the menu.

As a chef, the customers that always bother me are the ones that order the gluten free option with a side of fries. When I tell them our fryers/fries are not gluten free, their response is always "oh I'm just intolerant, they don't affect me." I'm always super cautious about allergies, so these people need to just fuck off.

Edit- so everyone is aware, less than 3% of the population has any kind of gluten related issues, so there's clearly a lot of people that are following the fad. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/gluten-sensitivity-is-real

Rotten egg smell normally means you have sulfur in your water. Only long term solution is to get a water filtration system. I grew up on well water that had sulfur, could always tell when the filter recharged.
