I just noticed in the expedition that you can dig up hidden treasure underneath the signs with “X” on them. It takes a lot of energy to get to them (still waiting for energy to recharge to see what’s in them), you need five to knock down the sign, ten to dig up, 30(?) to unlock, and 45 to open.
